Your unique story matters.

My empathic, non-judgmental stance opens up space for all individuals from diverse cultural and racial backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. I consider you as the person you are, with a singular history and story within which lies both barriers and potential.

Experience dynamic change.

I aim for my clients to feel heard and seen in new, reparative ways. I also believe that therapeutic change is a process that requires ongoing assessment from an attuned ear who can provide corrective experiences during the right moments. Learn more about my therapy process.

About Me.

I am a bilingual, Korean-American, first-generation immigrant psychologist licensed to serve clients across the lifespan in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.

In addition to a doctorate in psychology, I hold master’s degrees in clinical social work and secondary education.

My decades-long experiences as an educator, coach, as well as clinical training with veterans suffering from PTSD, college students, adolescents, adults and parents, and older adults in urban and rural areas are integral to my clinical, contextual approach. As a certified yoga instructor, I also incorporate mind/body connection into my therapy work with clients.
